Pumpkin Facial Scrub
Fall in Florida might not bring changing leaves, but there is a return to all things pumpkin that signals fall for many of us regardless of where we live! I have been searching for variations of natural facial scrubs, and with pumpkin season upon us, I offer up a fantastic scrub you can easily make at home. Oh, and yes, this scrub helps us feel like fall has arrived.
Sugar scrubs are easily made at home, and home-crafted treatments make pampering yourself simple and fun! Skincare products are expensive and if you are looking for a treatment that supports your skin's needs, pumpkin has benefits we often look for in over-the-counter products. Vitamin A, C, and zinc bring you a treatment that is rich in antioxidants and good for your skin.
So simple you can mix it up and use it every day!
Store this product in your fridge and enjoy a refreshing scrub on your face, neck, and decolletage every morning!
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin spice
Mix dry ingredients in a small jar you can seal!
1/4 cup of pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon of vitamin E oil
1-4 drops of Frankincense (anti-aging, reduces wrinkles)
Mix well and enjoy! Be sure you refrigerate your pumpkin scrub, and you might want to label it so nobody tries to use it as a snack!
